TUESDAY, JULY 2, 2024
North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District Flag Raising & Pancake Breakfast
8:00 -10:00 am
Fill up for the fun to come at this annual Flag-Raising Ceremony and Pancake Breakfast. It’s the perfect way for kids to recognize the importance of the holiday as the local Boy Scout Troop performs the official ceremony in front of the fire station. Stay right there to enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading out to the rest of the holiday’s events.
Kid’s Bike Parade & Local Heroes Parade
10:00 am (Bike Parade); 11:00 am (Local Heroes Parade)
A favorite for all every year is this classic All-American parade that starts with hundreds of kids, parents, and pups, too, lead the annual Local Heroes Parade down the streets of Incline Village.
Local Heroes Community Fair
11:00 am – 3:00 pm
Here’s where you want to go to learn anything and everything about the local community. Throughout the Fair there are booths attended by all the local non-profit agencies in town, local artisans, and food, too. Kids love it as there are games galore. Shake hands with the Washoe County Sheriffs and thank them for their service during this Local Heroes celebration throughout Incline Village.
Highlander Pride Backyard BBQ

No need to go home for lunch! The Incline High School Highlanders are offering a Backyard BBQ in Aspen Grove at Village Green. Highlander Pride is a nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to charitable, artistic, and educational purposes, including the financial assistance of amateur athletic sports programs organized by the public schools of Incline Village, Nevada
Toccata Salute to America
2:30 – 5:00 PM
Here’s the newest holiday celebration event that is a must-do, too. Enjoy the music of Toccata orchestra as they present music of the season at St. Francis Catholic Church in Incline.

Head on over to UNR’s Lake Tahoe campus for a full day of festivities, food, and fanfare. It’s one our favorite events to attend to support the Incline-Tahoe Foundation

Veterans Recognition Lunch

Held annually at Aspen Grove, the volunteers from Cornerstone Church present this honorable event for gathering for veterans and their families.

Come support the efforts of our Veterans Club at their Breakfast at Aspen Grove. This is the longest-standing event of Incline Village’s 4th of July Celebrations – for all the right reasons.
Flag Retirement Ceremony
7:45 pm
Everyone is welcome to attend this emotional event at sunset on the Village Green. If you have an old flag to be retired with honors, this is the time to do so. Drop your flags off at the Incline Recreation Center or Library then join us for a formal flag burning ceremony as the sun sets over the Sierra.
