With beautiful weather to complement a wonderful day with Dad, the High Sierra sets the perfect backdrop for a memorable Father’s Day.  We polled our family at Sun Bear Realty and vacation rental in Lake Tahoe as to what their plans were for the big day.

First, Grab a Gift & Get Ready to Spoil Dad

Bike the North Lake Tahoe Ale Trail

Maybe make it a date once a week to experience the famous North Lake Tahoe Ale Trail – by bike! There are some really cool options that will show you where the best mountain biking trails are in Lake Tahoe that end up at some of our favorite watering holes.

Our staff’s top picks include the recently completed Tyrolian Downhill, where you can literally coast all the way down 2,000 vertical feet to the base of Diamond Peak.  The more serious bikers may want to continue their trek to the deck at Alibi Ale Works / Incline Public House for a cold one and hot meal too.

With America’s Best Playground wrapped around our mountain community, there are hundreds of trails to explore. Be it a Sunday stroll or a rigorous trek, Incline Village and Crystal Bay are home to some of the most scenic trails that guarantee jaw-dropping views of Lake Tahoe.
