Next, keep the momentum going with activities that balance fun and ease. The Tahoe East Shore Trail is perfect for families—flat, paved, and incredibly scenic. Kids can bike, scooter, or walk while enjoying nonstop lake views.

If the family loves to hike, you’ve hit a gold mine with miles of trails to hike with families in Incline Village. Our favorite, hands-down, is to start at the Tunnel Creek Café and head up to Monkey Rock.  It’s a picture-perfect trail to pop those Instagramable photos or capture the idyllic photo for that Christmas Card to come! Once you finish the hike, stop at the Café for one of the best lunches surrounded by the great outdoors!

OR, for something a little more peaceful (Monkey Rock is very popular), go park at Diamond Peak Ski Resort and hike your day away. If you have time to plan ahead, stop by Incline Bak’d in the Country Club Mall to pick up a picnic to enjoy at Snowflake Lodge – up the mountain at the Peak.
