Blue Skies, Brews, and the Beach - Lovin' Fall in Tahoe.

In our last few blogs we've told you all about our fond affection for the fall season; and this edition is no exception.

From one of the finest wine and food festivals in the USA, to Oktoberfests on the Beach and in the majestic Squaw Valley, this has to be one of the best times to head to the High Sierra.

In addition to the festivities you'll enjoy the quieter side of Tahoe where reservations at your fav restaurants and golf courses are easy to secure, as is a place on the beach to soak up the Sierra sun before the snow flies.

Here's where we'll be this fall; and hope to see you there as well!

SEPTEMBER 20-22, 2019
Lake Tahoe Autumn Wine and Food Festival

Northstar California

This event is a must-not-miss event that was voted as one of the top 10 food festivals in the country.

Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy some of the most delicious food, wine, beer, music and crafts as Northstar hosts the 34th Annual Autumn Wine and Food Festival next weekend.

Make the time to get to know our local celebrity chefs, get in to a culinary workshop, and enjoy the flavors of our local purveyors at the Farm to Tahoe events.

Oktoberfest in Lake Tahoe

We always enjoy heading over to Squaw during the fall season to see the trees turn and take a stroll through this classic alpine village. Pair those pleasures with a day at their annual Oktoberfest and you'll be sure to add this to your list of things to do every year.

According to their website, this annual event transforms the Village at Squaw Valley into the “largest Bavarian playground in North Lake Tahoe, complete with authentic German beer, delicious food, Bavarian music, the ever-popular Oktoberfest Games and plenty of family fun.”

Tahoe City Oktoberfest

Here's a great option as well. Imagine a day at the beach and attending an Oktoberfest, too! You can do that later this month as the The Tahoe City Downtown Association pulls out all stops to host their annual Oktoberfest at Common's Best.

Their website describes it best: “Featuring craft beers from some of the region’s best microbreweries, delicious local grub, Bavarian-themed games, a craft vendor village, live music, games, and more — you won’t want to miss this festive fall celebration!”

No matter where you go or what you do, we hope you always stay in one of our client's lakefront condominiums for rent or mountain home vacation rentals. Or, stay a little longer or for a lifetime with our options on long term rentals or homes for sale in Nevada on Lake Tahoe's North Shore
