For over 25 years, Austin’s in Incline Village’s Country Club Center has been a tried and true favorite for locals and long-time visitors alike. From the Chicken Fried Steak to the famous Doug’s Salad, the menu keeps many of its signature items while bringing in something fresh and new to take advantage of the freshest seasonal ingredients. Its dining room is cozy yet spacious, and on Memorial Day they open the patio for outdoor dining in a dog-friendly environment!
Just down the street from Diamond Peak Ski Resort, on the north shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe, Big Water Grille offers one of the area’s most spectacular panoramic lake views, both inside and out. Come for Happy Hour or a leisurely dinner overlooking the Lake and enjoy comforting Californian cuisine, with a menu featuring steaks, game, and market fresh seafood. They are also known for their extensive wine list showcasing over 100 wines from around the world and creative cocktail offerings.
Founded in 2007 by owner/operators Thomas and Brooke McCarthy, Bite American Tapas is a local’s favorite, for lots of tasty reason. Conveniently located in the center of town, BITE is a perfect spot for après ski and dining, too. Check out their
carefully constructed wine offerings, hand-crafted cocktails and thoughtful bites of creative cuisine.
From steak and lobster to American home-made faire, the Crystal Bay Club has two options for dining year-round. Both are favorites of the team at Sun Bear Realty & Vacation Rentals! The Steak and Lobster House is the crown jewel of the Crystal Bay Club, specializing in Australian Rock Lobster, it is known as one of the finest restaurants on the North Shore. The cozy atmosphere and excellent tableside service enhance your fine dining experience. For lighter faire, Bistro Elise is another excellent choice for a savory and hearty breakfast, lunch or dinner … and a “guilt free” Italian dessert to finish it off!
Sit at one of the 15 copper-covered tables at this intimate bistro, which serves an eclectic menu of European and Asian cooking, prepared using organic produce and free-range meats. Try the braised lamb shank, Parmesan gnocchi, or the deliciously fresh sushi rolls. Ask for a table by the fire. Reservations are essential so book early!
Indus Asian Noodles and Curries
Here’s Lake Tahoe’s best selection of Chinese, Vietnamese and Sri Lankan cuisine all in one location. The menu is as significant as it is scrumptious with all kinds of curries, unique chicken ginger soup and special veggie rice noodles with chicken and Tabouli salad, and so much more!
One step inside this boutique alpine dining establishment and you will think you have traveled to a European ski town. For over 30 years, La Fondue has been offering classic options for all to enjoy. On the menu? Authentic Swiss fondue (to cook in the traditional oil or new hot broth options) with choices of meat, seafood, chicken and cheese; Schnitzel entrees and Dessert Fondue. There’s a full bar within this cozy restaurant that offers its entire setting for private parties and well as public dining.
Chef Jean-Pierre Doignon offers diners a taste of France in one of the most intimate settings on Tahoe’s North Shore in Incline Village. It is a small fine dining restaurant serving contemporary French fusion cuisine created with only the highest quality ingredients focusing on local, seasonal and organic produce. We have gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options. Ideal for a special occasion or holiday celebration.
This very popular lakeside grille and lounge is wrapped with a rustic alpine decor with the charm of a mountain ski chalet! No matter where you sit, you will celebrate the seasons against the spectacular backdrop of Lake Tahoe and their expansive private beach. Expect inspired “High-Sierra cuisine” that changes seasonally to reflect local, in-season ingredients and the tastes of the current season. In addition to their impressive menu offerings, the Grille is nice option for late night cocktails, with a seasonally changing cocktail menu.
Voted as ‘The Best Place to Take a Date’ time and time again, Soule Domain has gained its reputation as an upscale, intimate restaurant that deliciously combines style and romance within it cozy cabin setting. Chef and owner, Charlie Soule, brings passionate culinary skills to create twists to traditional dishes while infusing them with influences from around the globe and creates each signature dish with “local seasonal produce – all prepared with love and respect. “
Within the Crystal Bay corridor is one of the Lake’s oldest casino hotels, Tahoe Biltmore. Outside, retains the charm of yesteryear and inside offers fresh and delicious and affordable dining options. Cafe Biltmore serves a variety of classic American cuisine and has the best values on the North Shore. As does “Bilty's” – the property’s seasonal upscale dining option.
