"Must Do" Fall Fundraisers at Lake Tahoe

Just when you thought there was enough to do throughout the beautiful fall months at Lake Tahoe, we found a few other delicious ideas to fill your schedule - and your stomach - while you support some exceptional causes right here at the Lake.

We hope you take advantage of these two options that will make a big difference in our community and a big impression for all of you foodies that love a good meal and great time in Tahoe.

It’s North Tahoe’s most flavorful fundraiser, Passport to Dining, benefiting North Tahoe Business Association (NTBA), a non-profit community benefit organization. It is a not-to-miss fall social gathering to take place on Thursday, November 10, 6:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m. at North Tahoe Event Center in Kings Beach in beautiful North Lake Tahoe. The popular event features up to 35 tasting stations including restaurants, caterers, breweries, wineries, and distilleries as well as a raffle and a silent auction that features Northern California Getaway Packages and many valuable items.

Dine for 50 percent off at more than 50 North Lake Tahoe/Truckee restaurants with the purchase of a Tahoe Truckee Excellence in Education Foundation Dining for Schools card. On sale now, the project helps raise money to support Tahoe/Truckee schools.

Cards are available for purchase for $50 at Safeway (Truckee and Kings Beach), Save Mart (Truckee and Tahoe City), Mountain Hardware and Sports (Truckee), The Store (Tahoe City), and online. For a complete list of participating restaurants and valid dates of use, visit exined.org.
