BIG BLUEgrass Festival to Benefit Sierra State Parks Foundation

Here's a concert that is ideal for summertime fun and a 'feel-good' festival as well!

Join us at Sugar Pine Point State Park on August 4 to listen to professional bluegrass bands with Lake Tahoe in the background. It's a fundraiser for Sierra State Parks Foundation.

Bring your low-back chairs or blankets, and don't forget your flashlight ... and the music will last beyond sunset. Bring your appetite, too as the Park has hired Big Blue Q to cater the event. Lots of tasty brews will be available from Sierra Nevada Brewing Company with 'divine" wine by Highway 12

Purchase your VIP experience here for special seating near the stage, a personal concierge and exclusive food and beverages.

The opening act is our own very local Truckee School of Music which is followed up the Josh Brough String Band, Broken Compass Bluegrass and Ismay,

Important Note: Parking is limited. The park staff encourages car-pooling and the use of public transportation and encourages you to help them move the lines faster by purchasing your State Park parking pass ahead of time. If you purchase pre-paid parking, you much bring your receipt with you to show at the kiosk.

This special summer event is sponsored by:
