Our friends at the North Tahoe Business Association are inviting you to join them for Music on the Beach, Lights in the Sky! on Friday, September 1st 6:00 -9:30 pm to kick off your Labor Day Weekend in North Lake Tahoe. 

Once that event ends, your fun doesn’t have to! There are a ton of events happening on Labor Day weekend in North Lake Tahoe for all ages and interest levels.

Sunset Kayak Tour

Tahoe Adventure Company hosts a weekly Sunset Kayak Tour, with the next tour scheduled for Friday, September 1st.  This kayak trip is a great way to wrap up your day in Tahoe. Offered every Friday as well as other days by reservation. To learn more and book your tour click here

Dark Skies Cosmoarium at Northstar

Northstar California invites you to think big, REALLY big, and look up to the stars with the last tour of the summer season on Saturday, September 2nd, 8:15 – 10:30 pm.  Gather together around a warm fire pit at one of the best places for stargazing in Tahoe, and take in the galaxies above with renowned star guide and poet Tony Berendsen. Labor Day Beach Cleanup

The League to Save Lake Tahoe presents the Kings Beach- Labor Day Beach Cleanup. The beaches can get thrashed with trash after the popular holiday weekend festivities. Help Keep Tahoe Blue keep our beaches clean from Monday, September 2nd, 8:30 am-11:30 am. To learn more and sign up click here

Music on the Beach

Start your holiday weekend off right with the final concert of their free music Friday series, Music on the Beach. Friday, September 1st 6:00 pm-8:30 pm will feature local favorite, Jelly Bread. Their distinct style is identified by a blend of desert twang and the urban tones of funk and rock. They will be serving beer from Alibi Ale Works and wine from Truckee River Winery. Food vendors on site will be Tacos Herrera, Kettle King, and Susie Scoops.

Sunday Sessions at Alibi Ale Works with Kat Heart

Sunday Sessions at Alibi Ale Works- Incline Public House continues! Enjoy live music on Sunday, September 3rd, 3-6 pm. Kat Heart is a singer-songwriter with wrenching vocals and gritty guitar. For more info and to see more event details click here

Steelin’ Dan “A tribute to the music of Steely Dan” at Crystal Bay Casino

Enjoy all your favorite Steely Dan hits starting at 8 p.m. on Saturday, September 2nd in the Crown Room. “Dan fans will be hard-pressed to find flaws in Steelin’ Dan’s amazingly accurate arrangements and marksmanlike musicianship!” Price: $20 adv. $25 d.o.s. Country Mondays at Alibi Ale Works

An evening of country fun, with two line dance lessons, and the potential for a short Country Two Step lesson.  Put on those dancing shoes and stop by Alibi Ale Works- Incline Public House on Monday, September 4th 7 pm-10 pm. Lead by Casey Turak, a line dance instructor from Northern Indiana. Come join us for some country fun! Bring a partner, a friend, or just yourself. We can’t wait to see you there! $5 to participate (cash preferred)
