Top Mountain Bike Trails in Lake Tahoe
For those of us who live, play and visit the east shore of Lake Tahoe, we know how fortunate we are when it comes to finding the top bike trails in Lake Tahoe. Lucky for all the enthusiasts who seek sights like the one above from the famous Flume Trail, there are miles and miles of trails to be explored just minutes from our own front doors or vacation rentals in Incline Village.
In fact, there are so many great trails you may need a whole summer and fall season to test your talents.
We polled our team at Sun Bear Realty and Property Management for their opinion on which trail takes the # 1 ranking and by surprise, there was no consensus. However, we thought you might want to know where they go to escape to the clear blue skies and cool Sierra breezes when time allows.
While you are out exploring the latest and greatest memory of your mountain biking at Tahoe, please do so responsibly by reading this article about Blazing a Trail of Kindness.
Thanks to all the hard work and dedication with the Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association, you can get all the information you need about where to go throughout the Sierra. They are an amazing asset to locals and visitors alike and have done more for the mountain biking sport in the West than most. Here's a brief paragraph about this dynamic non-profit:
The Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association (TAMBA) is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization that builds, maintains, and advocates for multi-use trails in Tahoe while providing education to all trail users and hosting fun community events. TAMBA works in partnership with land managers such as the U.S. Forest Service, Nevada State Parks, California State Parks, and the City of South Lake Tahoe. In addition, TAMBA helps maintain more than 100 miles of trail per year.
And now, the list of our team's favorite mountain bike trails in Lake Tahoe. For more details, visit TAMBA.org or MTBProject (for mountain biking trails across America).
Ride safe out there!
