INCLINE VILLAGE & TAHOE'S EAST SHORE

Incline Village Championship Golf Course

With the golf season officially opening in Incline Village on May 26, 2023, you will probably see Blane on the links on opening day! It is his favorite course … wrapped with some of the most views on the planet. A snippet from their website tells the story best: “A classic Robert Trent Jones Sr. design, this classic design golf course features distinctive design and the most beautiful views imaginable. Voted #10 in Golf Advisor's 2018 "Best Courses in the State”, 2012 and 2013 by Golf Digest magazine, and "Best State-by-State Courses" in 2016 by Golfweek magazine.

Incline Village Mountain Golf Course

An amazing mountain layout with old growth trees and elevation changes, this 18-hole Incline Village golf course is fun, affordable and scheduled to open in early June. The Mountain Course is the highest elevation golf course in the State of Nevada and the Tahoe Basin. Tee times are usually not a problem so go ahead and give us a call or book online. You can play this par-58 Lake Tahoe golf course quickly and be back with the family to enjoy the rest of your day.

Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course

Home of the biggest celebrity golf events in the nation, Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course hosts the prestigious American Century Celebrity Golf Classic every July on the edge of the Lake’s east shore. If the views of the Lake and surrounding High Sierra don’t interrupt your game, the course is one you will enjoy and remember for years to come. Its George Fazio design is noted as “super interesting” as the elevation is over 6,000 feet and there are plenty of water hazards to keep you focused on your game. We just enjoy taking our boat and anchoring around the famous 19th hole – which is often flanked by some of the finest yachts on the Lake.

CARSON VALLEY & GENOA

Clear Creek Tahoe - Lake Tahoe’s newest golf course development is just over the hill from Lake Tahoe and is one of the foremost golf course communities in the West. Two of the most established golf course designers in the nation have staked their claim in Carson City and designed the region’s newest option for mountain golf. There’s a great quote on their website from Ben Crenshaw who combined his talents with Bill Core: “The site fits perfectly with our philosophy of creating golf that feels natural and not contrived.

Genoa Lakes Golf Club - Want to own your own golf course? This one is for sale! Reach out to Blane Johnson for all the details. And in the meantime, it's up and running for the season. If you have yet to head over the hill to test your talent and tenacity in the sport of golf, here are TWO good reasons to do so. The Genoa Lakes Golf Club offers two options: The Lakes Course and The Ranch Course. They are just two miles apart and offer miles of fairway wrapped with jaw-dropping views of the Eastern Sierra and surrounding cattle ranches. Named appropriately, the Lakes offers wandering fairways wrapped with water features and the Ranch course is a classic desert-style design. Both offer special deals so stay in tune to their website at GenoaLakes.com.

NORTH LAKE TAHOE & TRUCKEE

Tahoe Mountain Club

Old Greenwood & Gray’s Crossing

Enjoy the best of both worlds, just a short scenic drive from Incline Village. Offering spectacular settings, Old Greenwood is a Jack Nicklaus Signature Course and Gray’s Crossing was imagined by Peter Jacobson.  Both will not disappoint the novice to the most advanced

Coyote Moon

Coyote Moon’s website says it best: The course seems worlds away from civilization and each hole seems a world unto itself.”  Put this one on your list as well to enjoy over 250 acres of mountain play.  We love to go there in the springtime as the wildflowers offer some of the best distractions!

Northstar California

Robert Muir Graves is one of industry’s finest golf course architects who captured the panoramic beauty of the Martis Valley.  It’s a top choice for family fun with holes to test all talents.

Old Brockway

We rate this local’s favorite as “The Best Value” while the Golf Channel rated Historic Old Brockway in Kings Beach, California, as one of the top 9-hole courses in the country.  Be prepared to play in between some of the oldest pine trees in Tahoe that have been preserved for centuries and provide a magnificent setting.
