With the highest base elevation, some of the best snow and celebrations to date can be enjoyed at Mt. Rose. Get an early start on celebrating the new year with a day of skiing at Mt. Rose followed by their New Year's Eve fireworks celebration, snowcat, and torchlight parade. Gather your friends and family and either watch the fun unfold from the Main Lodge or park up top and walk down to the slopes.

This is a very popular event, and parking is expected to FILL UP quickly. To ensure a smooth experience, plan to arrive early and consider carpooling with friends or family.

All the events can be viewed from either location.
