MILL CREEK – As the community’s first true residential area, Mill Creek still retains its popularity for year-round residency. Its low elevation, close proximity to town and the beaches, and neighborly atmosphere makes this section of town a great spot for a true ‘home sweet home”.

PONDEROSA  Just a stone’s throw south of Diamond Peak, and just above State Route 28, the Ponderosa area has become a real local neighborhood for families who seek convenience and lower-end home options.

THE WOODS  This low elevation neighborhood is another favorite for families and singles as well. Its close-by location to town, Preston Field, and other recreation areas makes this a nice spot for those who seek a convenient option at a good value.

SKI WAY  As the name implies, this section of town can’t get any closer to the slopes of Diamond Peak. As such, it’s a popular spot for its classic Alpine and Tyrolean designed chalets and well-appointed condominiums.

TYNER – LOWER & UPPER – For those who seek scenes of the Sierra sunrise and sunsets over Lake Tahoe, this is the place to call home. For those who seek peace and quiet, the Upper Tyner area in particular is one of the area’s most serene.
