Fall Golf is in Full Swing in Incline Village

With the skies crystal clear again and temperatures in the low 70's it's time to get back outside to enjoy the fall golf season at Lake Tahoe!

Right here in Incline Village, we are looking forward to making up for lost days on the links. And according to Darren Howard, Director of Golf and Community Services, the whole team looks forward to seeing us this fall. To bring you right up to speed, we are sharing his most recent update to keep you up-to-date about the golf courses in Incline Village and what to expect this fall:

"We made it through the peak of the summer 2021 golf season (July and August) and now we have some great fall golf to look forward to. The golf season this year got off to a great start, due mainly to the masterful job Jeff Clouthier and his staff did preparing both courses for the season. All 18 greens and the putting green opened at the Championship Course with no winter damage. The Mountain Course also had no ice damage and very minimal snow mold.

The local Golf Associations have been experiencing great turnouts for their events, and as the golf season moves along, they have many more golf and social events coming up. Chef Bill and his staff are working hard every day to keep up with the demand at all of our Food and Beverage outlets. We ask for your patience as they navigate their way through what has already been a difficult and challenging season of finding enough workers to continue our operations. Some venues and times of service may become limited so that our staff can adequately provide the best product and services possible.

Limited Operations at The Grille: Due to extreme staffing shortages, the menu and hours of operation may fluctuate and The Grille may experience periodic closures. Please visit The Grille Facebook page for announcements.

Please note on your calendars the pending closure of the front nine at the Mountain Course on September 16 due to the golf cart path replacement project. The back nine will remain open as long as the weather permits, and we plan on staying open one week longer than normal.

Also, don’t forget we have specialists for Ping, Titleist, Callaway, Mizuno, and Cobra on our staff for all your custom club fitting needs. Just call the Golf Shop to set up a fitting time and we will be more than happy to accommodate.
